How do you maintain softness in an increasingly hardened world? How do you keep yourself open to others, even when you disagree?
Choreographer and Leo Spreksel Award-winner Faizah Grootens explores the power of tenderness in Tender Resistance. The dancers engage physically with each other in which their approaches sometimes seem very different. How does one offer tender resistance? Inspired by speeches and interviews by actress Viola Davis and the sensitivity of Papiamentu, Faizah explores how complicated it is to remain vulnerable in a world full of conflict and harshness.
